Rick Redman
Richard Clark Redman (born March 7, 1943 in Portland, Oregon) is a retired American Football linebacker who played professionally in the American Football League and the National Football League. ==Amateur athletics== At Bishop Blanchet High School in Seattle, Washington (class of 1961), Redman played right guard and center linebacker under football coach, Mickey Naish. During his junior year, however, he played fullback on offense. He also participated in basketball, track, and wrestling under famed coach, Bill Herber.〔''Pallium'' (Blanchet yearbook), 1961, p. 68.〕 Redman's outstanding play on the football field earned him high school All-American honors in his senior year. Redman played college football at the University of Washington, where he played guard and linebacker. He was a two time All-American and Academic All-American once, and in 1995 he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
